So here we are. Wow. When I wake up each day and change the number of days left on my dorm whiteboard, I still can't believe it.
In 9 more days of classes, our freshman year will pretty much be over! This is the time to focus on those final projects, papers and tests and really crank it out before the school year is over. I, for one, will miss Ithaca when I leave!
But I am not protesting when the though of an Atlanta summer comes to mind.

6 Emails Later...
So, you must have gotten a lot of emails from SGA without the link to vote! Frustration! Never fear, the last email sent out was fully equipped for your voting pleasure. For those who still need the link to vote, here it is:
We all really appreciate you taking the time to vote.
Choose your senators wisely! These will be the people representing you among the administration and other areas of the college. A few of us are running for re-election so if you thought we did a good job keeping you informed and being helpful members of SGA, then let's do it again for another year!
Voting is running from April 6-10, so get on there and Rock The Vote.

Going Once, Going Twice, SOLD!

Don't have time to sort and put out your recyclables?
Need someone to get your mail for you while you are in class?
Want a person to do your laundry?
Then the upcoming Senator Auction may be just for you. On April 6 @7:00pm in IC Square, SGA will host an auction in which current SGA senators and Executive Board members will be auctioning themselves off to do chores and favors for you, the student body.
All proceeds from the event will go right back to the student body through various student organizations on campus. This is all a part of our effort to give back to organizations during tough economic times.
Here are some tasks being auctioned off!
-Rock Climbing Lessons
-Car Wash
-Guitar Lessons
-Laundry Duty
-Proofread an Essay
-Lunch Delivery
-Pickup/Delivery Service
So come and hang out with SGA! There will be voting posts up as well so you can vote for your class senators right there. See you then!

Curtain Up!
Freshmen! Aaron here. Relax from those studies and go see some theater! As a biased enthusiast of the theatrical arts, I am personally telling you that there are some awesome shows opening right here on the Ithaca stage in the very near future. I'll [of course] be seeing them myself (and acting in one!)
How about you?
Life-threatening brain illness and a guy in a frog costume...sounds like a musical to me! Be sure to check out A New Brain on the IC Mainstage. I hear its going to be pretty solid.
THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE (IC Triple Threat Theater)
April 2-5 @ 8pm in Whalen Presser Hall
Break out your flapper dresses and 20's style dance moves. This Triple Threat show is taking you back to 1922 when skirts above the knee and penciled eyebrows were becoming "quite respectable."
tick...tick, BOOM! (IC Triple Threat Theater)
April 25 and 26 @ 8pm in Park Auditorium
A beautifully written ode to inspiration, love, hardship and the power of music, tick...tick, BOOM is bound to be a cool night of music and acting for any theatergoer. Check it out.
Tartuffe (IC Mainstage)
Ever known an imposter? A fake? If not, you can see someone act out one on stage in Moliere's classic comedy, Tartuffe.
Save the date! And check later on in the semester for more chances to catch cool shows. And no one will judge if you keep your ticket stubs if it was THAT awesome. Collect away.

SGA Speaker Series
We're having some BIG names coming to our SGA meetings and the list continues on for the rest of the semester. So far we have had:
President Tom Rochon
Provost Kathleen Rountree
Vice President for Finance and Administration Carl Sgrecci
among others.
We are looking to bring in many more high-ups of Ithaca College right in our meeting space in our good 'ol T-Falls Room.
So when you get back from Spring Break, get ready for some awesome dialogue...with ridiculously important people on the IC Campus. Make your choice to be there or be square (cliche much?). Choose wisely, though, you don't want to miss the opportunity to speak directly with these people!
Put a name to a face and join us after Spring Break!
